  • Visited USA at the invitation of IEEE to receive an award from IEEE Reliability Society at 1982 Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium; also presented a paper in the Symposium; delivered a lecture at Berkley University, California.
  • Visited Germany for delivering keynote address in their 14th Scientific Conference at the invitation of University of Transport and Communications at Dresden; also chaired a session in this Conference and delivered a lecture at Technical University, Berlin.
  • Visited Paris in June 1987 to present a paper in the International Conference on Reliability and Quality Control; Chaired a session in this Conference.
  • A tour to UK to visit UMIST, Manchester, University of Birmingham, Birmingham and City University, London; Delivered Lectures and held discussions on research topics.
  • Visited USA to present a paper in 1989 Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium and to deliver lectures at University of Cincinatti, Ohio; Wayne State University, Detroit and North Carolina State University. Raleigh.
  • Visited USA in 1994 to present two papers in ISSAT International Conference, Seattle, Washington; Delivered lectures at Wayne State University, State University of Buffalo, N.Y., Florida State University; Also delivered lectures at Ford Motors, Detroit and Information Management Resources Clearwater, USA.
  • Visited USA in 1997 to deliver talks at Qualcomm San Diego and Duet Technologies, San Jose.
  • Visited USA in 1999 to attend an International Conference  organised by the International Society of Science and Applied Technologies, USA on Reliability and Quality in Design and presented a research paper entitled ‘ MAXREL’. “A software package for maximising Reliability by optimum use of redundancies in a practical system.”
  • Visited London, UK to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Commonwealth Universities during November, 2000.
  • Visited Cyprus to attend the Conference of Executive Heads of Association of Commonwealth Universities during April, 2001.
  • Visited Australia to attend the Annual Conference of Australasion Association for Engineering Education at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane during September, 2001.
  • Visited San Diego, Uniteed States of America to attend an International Symposium sponseord by the Society for Modelling and Simulation during July 2002.
  • Visited Canada to attend the International Conference on Sofware Engineering, July 2003 ; presented a paper & chaired a session.
  • Visited California, USA to attend International Conferece on Computer Science and its Applications during June 2004 ;Presented a paper & chaired a session.
  • Visited San Diego, US Education Service to attend the Third International Conference on “Computer Science and Its Applications”, June, 2005 ; presented a research paper & chaired a session.
  • Visited USA for attending twin Conferences, i.e., Sixth Annual ESRI Annual Education User Conference and Twenty Sixth Annual ESRI International User Conference, August, 2006; presented an invited talk on “GIS-MA: Geographical Information System as a Management Aid”.
  • Visited Lao PDR to preside over  the Orientation Programme to select LAO students for MCA programme of the University during March 2007.
  • Visited Ethiopia (Addis Ababa) for attending the General Assemby Meetings of Intenational Federation of Information Processing (IFIP), August –2007.
  • Visited Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia  to attend the EDUCON 2007, a Conference on Higher Education, during August-September, 2007; presented a paper on University Industry Interaction.
  • Visited Bangkok (Thailand) to attend SEARCC EXCO Meeting during November, 2007.
  • Visited Colombo (Sri Lanka) in August 2008 to deliver a keynote address in their National Convention organised by Computer Society of Sri Lanka.
  • Visited South Korea in September 2008 to deliver some lectures and participate in follow up meeting for strengthening of our MOU.
